Welcome! Whether you're new here or you've been with me for a while, I'm happy to say by being here, you’ll stay up to date on what’s happening in my studio, get to know me on a more personal level, and learn about my creative process and what inspires my work.

Monday night's at Connie's

If you're looking for me on a Monday night, I'll probably be in Greensboro at Connie Logan's Studio painting! Since, my buddy, Gary, introduced me to Connie and the wonderful world of oil painting, I just can't seem to get enough.

If you're familiar with my watercolor work, you know I'm a huge architecture fan. I love painting my way around High Point. This month, I've selected some of my favorite places in High Point to create in oils. Stayed tuned to my Instagram and Facebook page to follow along.

Snack and Paint at Studio 136

Teaming up with Studio 136 and my friend, Marcus, aka Big Ocean Ghost, to show up and create for the kids! Bring the kids out to this free event on April 18th. Food trucks, sweet treats, and more!!

Studio 136 Art Show Prep Work

In June, I'll be showing lots of new traditional oils, as well as some new acrylic pop art pieces. I'm excited to show my range. If you have a home or pet portrait that I've done for you in the last two years, I'd love to feature it during the artist reception on Saturday, June 13th, 5 - 9:00 PM. Reach out and I'll grab it from you.

Art in Acrylics

I'm hosting an acrylic painting workshop on Saturday, June 13th from 9:30 am-12:30 pm! We will walk-through the basics of preparing your canvas, sketching your design base, preparing your workspace, and create a beautiful painting

We will work together to create your very own 16 x 20" acrylic painting. I will have several florals to choose from, but if you have a favorite flower...let me know! This 3-hour workshop will be a “Follow the Leader” style class and is perfect for beginners and practicing artists alike. I will explain and demonstrate the process of applying acrylic strokes that not only blend well, but leave a bit of texture to your painting.

Class size is limited to 12 people. $65 includes all materials, as well as snacks and water. Feel free to BYOB if you'd like mimosas or wine--just remember to bring a cooler and ice, for cold items.

All materials will be furnished. Your finished masterpiece will be almost ready to hang by the end of the class.

April Reminder: Let Yourself Unfurl​
Just like the trees don’t rush their first leaves, you don’t have to rush your creative blooming either. April is a month of slow openings — tiny shifts, small sparks, quiet courage. Let your art (and your heart) stretch at its own pace. Growth is happening, even when it’s subtle.
